- The boots are lined with a polyester mesh fabric to allow for maximum breathability in hot environments. This product is not generally resolable due to the side-stitching sole application system but can be rebuilt by a specialized cobbler. Made in Italy
- 1. Nomex fabrics are utilized in the upper section due to their fire-resistant properties and ability to decrease the total weight of the boot significantly.
- 2. The boot features Kevlar-reinforced laces that are fire-resistant, in addition to various stitch patterns, to decrease the likelihood of boot failure and meet NFPA standards.
- Similar to models in Zamberlan's backpacking line, the Extinguisher is "out of the box" comfortable. The Extinguisher is board lasted for a precise yet comfortable fit using Zamberlan's famous ZBPK last, the same as in the highly regarded 996 Vioz GTX.
